ABOUT JOAN TORRES
Joan Torres is the co-author of the international best-selling non-fiction book The Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them. Along with her other produced film and television scripts, she wrote the cult Blacula pictures with her late writing partner, Raymond Koenig. She is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts in Literature for her screenplay Streethearts and has also won a Chris Award for Excellence in documentary films. She has done translations with Janusz Glowacki on his plays Antigone in New York (published by Samuel French, Inc) and Fortinabras Gets Drunk. She is currently living in Santa Fe, NM, where she is completing her first novel.
